As always with this type of bookshelf/library based design, I do wonder a little how it will look when every single shelf is full (with a jumble of colours and sizes of books, probably) rather than the tasteful few books and ornaments.
We appear to be working towards this ideal, and have done two rooms so far. I can see the third room happening to make room to allow both a fiction and non-fiction library.
Though this will cause problems with the allocation of the Arthuriana & folklore section. Hmmm.
Ignore those people. If your house had a perpetual motion machine or something that would generate infinite usable energy from sewage, they would probably be against that too. ;-)
mine are shelved thematically, with some considertaion taken of size and colour within that... (Well, more or less - they are still in some disarray from a house move a couple of years ago)
