Yesterday, I was out of the house from 7.30am until 10.00pm; so it is very nice to be having an evening at home today.

We've got a bank holiday weekend coming up, haven't we. What should we do with it? What are you going to do with it?

I'm currently reading:
- a book on Victorian Britain as seen by Punch
- an Isaac Asimov festschrift
- a book on sailors' experiences in WWII
- a book on dive bombers.

Ooh, what's the name of that first book?

I'm currently reading The Anatomy of a Moment, which is exploring the (often distorted) history of the attempted 1981 coup in Spain. It's not a Bank Holiday weekend here, but I do have a birthday coming up and I plan to take the day off.
