1990! I've seen a little of the television series, but not read the books.

If you'd been quicker when I was giving the books away a few weeks ago, you could have had them!

I didn't notice - despite the frequent posting, I've not been taking all that much in.

I'm currently (sort of) re-reading A Storm of Swords (the next one in the series after A Clash of Kings) since I'm listening to the audiobook (again)...

...which links quite neatly to 1990 since the Ice and Fire audiobooks are narrated (in world record* style) by Roy Dotrice, the late Edward Woodward's father-in-law.

* Most characters played by the same actor in an audiobook or something.

Don't stop at Howl, there's Castle in the Air and House of Many Ways to come.
I'm reading American Gods too.

Well, you may omit "The Game" - even Homer nods!

Yes, I'm enjoying it. I am hoping to finish it by tomorrow morning, so that [livejournal.com profile] adaese can lend it to [livejournal.com profile] gayalondiel.

I really liked American Gods. I read it shortly after my father died & it certainly provided my brain with fodder for some very bizarre dreams. I won't say what they were as they may count as spoilers, but once you've read it you might be able to guess what they were :-)

You should add Neverwhere and Anansi Boys to your list for Neil Gaiman.

I have read and enjoyed Neverwhere, but not (yet) Anansi Boys.
