I remember a play called Take a Sapphire - based I think on a Brahms and Simon story - in the midst of which my parents, who had very strict rules about bedtime, sent me to bed, assuring me that it would be repeated. It never was and I never really forgave them. There was also a television version of Hassan with John Gielgud and Ralph Richardson. That would be good to see again.
