I do like Dublin, although it is a long time since I was last there.

What is it with those big bronze balls? Hopefully this is a link (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/curiouswombat/katherine/Italy2010049.jpg) to a picture of my daughter taken in Rome a couple of years ago... same bronze ball, or something very similar!

Mm yes, I think nineveh_uk has seen that too. All I know about the Dublin one is that it is in the grounds of Trinity College.

Fair bit of repair work done on the DUKW's wiring ... ;-) Saw one used for sea trips on the Belgian coast in 2005 that had been given a new engine made by Heinkel

Yep, that's what I thought :-) adaese has also had the pleasure of a DUKW tour through Philadelphia.
