Date: 2013-12-31 05:14 pm (UTC)I read some of the article out to my husband, a member of the Tolkien Society back in the early 70s who was brought up in Malawi, and the level of scorn in his voice as he declared it 'A load of rubbish' had to be heard to be believed.
