We saw a dancing oystercatcher ...

... and a dancing crane.

Some moorhen chicks ...

... wanting food ...

... as did the coot chicks.

And otters!

The oystercatchers also had chicks ...

... so the parents didn't want big galumphing cranes about ...

... really didn't want big galumphing cranes about ...

... and won!

Date: 2014-05-12 06:44 pm (UTC)The nightingales were at Highnam Woods, about four miles west of Gloucester - apparently they have seven or eight singing males this year. They started singing around 7.45pm. By all means message me for more info.
