When my office was relocated for 6 months to the building next door, I spent some rainy lunchtimes clocking up every single case in the NMH, including the invertebrates.
Random fact: due to the porosity* of the stone floor, only white wine is permitted at drinks receptions there, not red.
We went to the main Easter service - combined with a christening - in St Magnus cathedral in Kirkwall this year. The congregation were invited to stay behind for drinks, and asked to stay on the mat at the east end so that nothing would be spilt on the stone.
The mat at the east end isn't very big. It is probably sufficient for the ?30 they might get at a normal service, but was wholly insufficient for the ?300 they had then.
