Vulcan

We will soon be off to Dawlish Air Show, to see - among other things - the Avro Vulcan. This will be a great chance to see her display for one last time before she goes into retirement at the end of this season.

There will be photographs - lots of photographs - but for now, have this one from her flypast at Filton three years ago.

I hope you had a great time seeing the Vulcan. I'm surprised she is being "retired" so soon after they got her flying in the first place, though?!

I did, thanks. She has been flying again for eight years - one of the reasons is that she has been so popular, abd has flown a lot of hours in that time.
