I like them. Had their album (possibly still do, although without a tape player to play it on) and am not ashamed. And I'm *definitely* not a reader of romantic stories, or a granny.
"Making Your Mind Up", by Bucks Fizz, was Britain's entry in the Eurovision song contest* in 1981. It won, which (a) bland pop like this tends to, and (b) pretty well guaranteed them several years of success in Britain (and, I believe, much of the rest of Europe).
*A post-World-War-II "Let's get Europe pulling together" type thing. Still going strong after 50-some years.
I'm 41, so finding the first song on YouTube was a big nostalgia hit for me.
