Well, we're on Iona. Things I've found out:
- my Barbour is losing its waterproofing
- the sleeves on my Barbour are too short to fully cover my fleece
- while my waterproof over-trousers may in fact be waterproof, leaving them in the hotel doesn't actually help to keep my legs dry
- apparently you can make a noise like a corncrake by scraping a credit card over a comb
- a cooked breakfast, a cooked lunch, and a three-course dinner every day doesn't do my waistline any good.

Oh you lucky things! I've always wanted to get there. Perhaps I need to invest in some waterproof clothing first though AND remember to bring it with me? :)

It's a great place - but you do need your waterproofs!
