Three good things for Monday:
- Just a Minute, University Challenge and Only Connect for our audiovisual entertainment
- Unnatural Death for my literary entertainment
- and leftovers, in the form of chicken curry and blackberry and elderberry crumble, to entertain my tastebuds.

Three good things for Sunday, autumn edition:
- we went blackberrying this afternoon
- and then we had roast partridge for dinner
- and blackberry and elderberry crumble for pudding :-)

- we had lunch at the Salutation in Ham today
- I have read Jo Walton's "My Real Children"
- we had chicken curry, followed by blackberry and grape Eton Mess, for dinner.

And a fourth - I got a good night's sleep, and didn't wake up until 7.30!

- I helped two strangers today, showing them the way to a cafe
- I then had lunch with adaese
- there is a programme about the first tanks on BBC 4.

- we had raspberries for pudding
- I have sorted out a few more books for the stall at work
- I have got the Kindle app on the desktop working.

- getting back to a normal routine
- eating quiche with our own eggs, followed by blackberries and the very last of our blueberries, for dinner
- watching University Challenge and Only Connect.

- it was good to see so many friends over the weekend
- it has been good to get home again.

- and I watched University Challenge and Only Connect on BBC2, and did tolerably well.

- we had roast pheasant for dinner

- we are still getting blueberries from our bushes (just!)
- my book on the charge of the light brigade has only reached the 1840s, but there is lots of juicy gossip about Lord Lucan and Lord Cardigan
- and dinner is almost ready :-)

Three good things for Wednesday:
- I have new (2/hand) books on the north west passage and on the charge of the light brigade
- I started the Madeira cake that adaese made yesterday
- the sprinkler has a pleasantly hypnotic effect.

I have been doing these "three good things" posts for more than a month now (with, admittedly, a couple of days off). Should I continue?
