Al Stewart. 60s-onwards folk-rock, often with an historical theme. I've been a fan for a long time, but he is increasingly pushing towards the top of my "favourite music" list. We saw him a couple of years ago at the Barbican, and really enjoyed it; we then got tickets to go and see him again, but we were ill :-(
"Spaceman"?! I think you mean "astronaut", which is what I always wanted to be when I grew up before I realised that astronauts had to have such things as perfect vision.
You have also missed out the option of "writer". :-)
I used to have very little sense of smell at all - no doubt related to my life-long colds / sinus infections / allergies. But it has improved considerably over the last ten years or so.
The commute would be a bitch! But somehow, I think the view from the shuttle would make it all worth while :).
How stupid is this? - I *still* believe someday I'll make it up there! One day... if they make the flights commercially viable. *is determined to ignore environmental costs of such a foolhardy plan*

(Mind you, I think the commute from Chilsworthy to Cape Canaveral would be a bit of a pain.)
