Date: 2009-07-17 05:38 pm (UTC)The ravens do Ravelry too, but that's rather more niche.
Oh, and I have a second blog and twitter feed in my author's pseudonym.
The LibraryThing account's in my alternative ID (and is, in any case, shared).
I've an account on LinkedIn, too, but it's not hugely active. It's about the only place I use my real name online.
Mainly, these days, I find I tweet.

Date: 2009-07-17 06:12 pm (UTC)LJ/DW posting is quite likely to go in waves - I have a longer post I keep meaning to make, but it takes a while to do so and then when I have, I don't mind making shorter ones.

Date: 2009-07-19 09:32 pm (UTC)I am also a member of scads of topic-specific forums and email discussion groups, some specific to my job, others specific to my volunteering - too many to list.
The Oldies Club charity originated and is almost entirely run via social media of various sorts, including various web forums and Facebook.
Why?

Date: 2009-07-20 01:38 pm (UTC)I am on Twitter under my usual handle; however, I don't feel very comfortable with micro-blogging (yet?).
In my real-life identity, I am on Facebook (used very rarely to look at some colleagues' and online friends' pictures), Xing (used sometimes to read through discussions for recent graduates in the big scary real world of office life) and StudiVZ (German Facebook clone, used occasionally to get in touch with former schoolmates).
But it's only LJ where I feel entirely comfortable.

Date: 2009-07-20 05:21 pm (UTC)I DON'T Tweet though (urgh). And I find a lot of social networking styles/places rather boring, so there are only a couple of places that I log into really regularly for entertainment or thought-provocation, the rest are for convenience or necessity of some sort. (Although I am thinking about making a 'landgrab' for me and some other family members, while I think of it).
