I was going to look at where the poll had gone since I had last seen it and try to make an intelligent comment! Probably just as well I never got to do so...
I regret to inform you that when asked to pick a number between one and ten, around half of the population typically picks 7. People who know this tend to have a strong bias against picking 7 thereafter :)
